Amelia Walters is a first-time author from Queensland, Australia. She is 8 years old and has loved reading for as long as she can remember. Her passion for books sparked a new love of writing, and she began creating stories just for the joy of it, and the big dreams that come with turning imagination into something real.

When she’s not writing, Amelia enjoys school, colouring, music, and singing (even if it sometimes tests her mum and dad’s patience). She loves being the big sister to her brother, Oliver, and her sister, Lilly. She also enjoys spending time with her family and going camping.

Amelia wrote The Snowman Who Lost His Nose to make young readers laugh, feel warm inside, and remember something important, kindness goes a long way, and helping a friend should feel special, not like work.
