Amelia Walters is a young author from Queensland, Australia. At just 9 years old, she has loved reading for as long as she can remember. Her passion for books soon inspired a love of writing, and she began creating her own stories simply for the joy of using her imagination and bringing new characters to life.

When she’s not writing, Amelia enjoys school, crocheting, colouring, music, singing (even if it sometimes tests her mum and dad’s patience), camping, and spending time with her family. She also loves being the big sister to her brother, Oliver, and her sister, Lilly.

Amelia’s first picture book, The Snowman Who Lost His Nose, is a heartwarming story about friendship, kindness, and helping others. Her second book, Coco’s Tangly Adventure, follows a curious little kitten whose search for a runaway ball of yarn gently reminds young readers that even life’s biggest tangles can often be solved one step at a time.

With many more story ideas already waiting to be written, Amelia hopes her books inspire children to laugh, use their imagination, be kind to others, and discover the joy of reading.
